CUA and Text Comparison

I seems to be having an issue with one of our CUA child systems. When trying to connect it to CUA everthing seems to be going well.I then run the text comparison from the child client, and it all seems to be ok. However when I go to our central system, and try to add roles to users in that specific client, the system cannot find any roles on the child client.
I have tried creating a new user, and the user does get created on the child system, but I cannot add any roles.
I have checked the partner profiles, and the RFC settings, and all seems to be setup properly.
Anyone has any idea?

What about starting the text comparison from the cua master (in SU01)? What does that do?

tried that too, no error message, but still cannot pick up any roles. I have noticed that the idoc package size is 1, on all our other cliets it is 100. Could this be the problem?

When you drill into the idoc are there many differences compared to a "known good" idoc in one of your other systems?

no, but i cannot pick up any idoc relating specifically to the roles text comparison

It matters not. The text comparison has to be run in the CUA-master. It will distribute from there to all the children. After all the Idocs in the child-systems have been posted, you can assign the roles to users/positions.
