Help with GR55 by business area or profit center

Here is the issue i need to resolve and I would like your expertise if you can help me.

In transaction GR55, I need to restrict a reporting group by business area. Only those people in the business area can run reports for their business area. The problem at our company is that we have 1 company code assigned with multiple business areas. So we can restrict by company code. We need to restrict by either business area or profit center.

I have tried many things including su24.
It still does not work. I have a deadline approaching and I was wondering if anyone could help me with this
