Difference between PayGrade and PayScale ?

Hi,

what is the difference between PayGrade and PayScale ? As far I understood, PayGrade can not be used for Employee Administration, because in Infotype 0008 (Basic Pay) we can only use PayScale. So what is PayGrade used for ?

Hi I used it for Comp&Ben in Organizational management for planing compensation in Position. You can customize Planing salary and it can be always compare with actual
