I agree with your prediction - I did have Brazil as favourite, but that was before I was aware of FIFA rule SU53

SU53 "When playing Germany, a goal is only valid if the ball goes behind the line and remains there until it comes to a complete rest."

Grrr...

Not completely true. I supported USA and Slovakia from the beginning and both teams did pretty good

But, When I expressed my support for England it was the beginning of the end

No chance now, sorry... :(
I think of Netherlands - German final now. There is very unlikely to see S.American team in final this year.

Hopefully the Dutchmen wil indeed go all the way!!
Even though I'm a dutchman, I'm afraid that the Germans will beat us if we meet them in the final. Their way of playing football this WorldCup is surpringly Ungerman but great to watch. Therefore I've set my hopes on a Netherlands - Spain final.

In order to keep my record of picking losers intact, I now put all my support at the disposal of Uruguay.

Uruguay for World Cup.

A bit of world cup trivia, if Netherlands lose then NZ all Whites will be only unbeaten team to have left this competition
