Automate Checking In DIR

Is there a way to automate the checking in of a document in a DIR so that the user doesn't have to pick the storage category? I tried to set it up using the configuration in "Define Profile", but I still get prompted to enter the storage category. Am I missing something? We are on ECC 6.0 and have a pretty basic DMS design. Thanks.

You can try using BAdI DOCUMENT_STORAGE01.

You definitely don't need a badi. Sounds like something wrong with your config. If you post some screen dumps I should be able to tell you where you have gone wrong in define profiles.
