Excluding certain batches from MRP

Post by MMPP » Wed Jul 15, 2015 12:40 pm

Like the subject says, I want to be able to exclude certain batches to be considered as available on-hand inventory by MRP.

I was looking into "restricted" batch status, but this won't work, because we still want to be able to move and sell those batches. "Blocked" stock status also won't work, because we are using Blocked Stock for other purposes.

Any other idea? Thank you!

Restricted batches stock is still considered as available - the same fact also applies even to the expired batches. There is no control at the batch management level wherein you can restrict the stock to be considered to be non available.

One way of managing this is move such batches to a storage location and exclude the storage location stock to bb considered available for MRP.
