SOP - BOM wise SFG Sales allocation

Postby Farman » Sat Feb 02, 2013 4:23 am

Dears,

We are facing problems while incorporating the following scenario.
1) Product A comprises of
i) SFG A
ii) SFG B
iii) SFG D
2) Product B Comprises of
i) SFG B (Common in product A & B)
ii) SFG C
iii) SFG D (Common in product A & B)
For example we want to budget our product A (500 Qty) and Product B (700 Qty),
we want to enter sales budget for SFG's (A 500 qty,B 1200 qty,C 700 qty, D 1200 qty) but needs to monitor on product level.
Actual Sales of SFG's as follows.
SFG A 500qty
SFG B 800qty
SFG C 600qty
SFG D 900qty
now we want to convert these SFG sales into set by using BOM as per following
SFG A 500 Qty allocation to product A
SFG B 500 Qty allocation to Product A
SFG D 500 Qty allocation to product A

Now SFG A Unallocated qty is 0, SFG unallocated qty is 300 SFG C unallocated 500,SFG D unallocated qty 400.
we can allocate maximum 300 sets because SFG C is short.
SFG B 300 Qty allocation to Product B
SFG C 300 Qty allocation to Product B
SFG D 300 QTY allocation to Product B

now we want to get the following results from SOP
SFG A Budget Qty = 500 Actual Sales = 500
SFG B Budget Qty = 700 Actual Sales = 300

Remaining SFG's SFG C = 200 and SFG D = 100 can be reported separately to balance the monthly figures and considered during next month sales for allocation to products.

Any help will be highly appricicated.
