BOM Deletion flags & Archiving

Postby jbowhunter » Tue Nov 20, 2012 1:14 pm

Hi,
I understand how the STKO-LOEKZ flag is set (manually via CS02 at the header) when flagging a BOM for deletion. I got that from the SAP HELP, Deleting a Material BOM and Carrying out the Delete Function. Also tested to confirm that it indeed was the STKO_LOEKZ..

What I don't understand is how/where to set the deletion indicator STKO-LKENZ. If anyone can point me to some decent documentation explaining the deletion flags for BOMs and how they are set???? That would be great!

Regards

LKENZ is set when a BOM is deleted with ref to a change number. Does not directly relate to archiving.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
Good luck!

Basically I'm just trying to understand what that LKENZ indicator is used for and how it is set. Thanks.

Very good.
The reason I asked is that 90% of the time when somebody asks me about BOM archiving, they are actually trying to hard delete a BOM from the database - which can be done without archiving or setting deletion flags.
Good luck!
