What does message "GR with backflush not for reporting point

Post by alexdarre » Thu Oct 04, 2012 10:50 am

What does this message "GR with backflush not for reporting point logic with autom. GR option" mean? Where do you treat this particular message that comes up with transaction MF42N?...
Thanks in advance

Your REM profile is set for optional reporting points and Auto GR at last reporting point. These are not to be used together, since no reporting point is required, there may not be a "Last reporting point" for the GR.
From the help on the "Auto GR at last reporting point" field:

Code: Select all

If you use the procedure with optional reporting points, you would
not usually use this function (as in the optional reporting point
procedure, you normally only execute a final backflush). You only
execute a reporting point backflush in certain instances - if scrap
has been produced, for example.
Good luck!
