To ensure correct quantities

Postby Sapfann » Tue Sep 11, 2012 12:25 am

Dear Seniors,
This has ref to issue of materials against Process order.
In our plant, materials are handled in batches.

Store users are determining batches for material through COR2, Issuing materials by posting material document in MIGO.
Often, it is observed batch is determined for less than the actual required quantity. And Material document posted through MIGO.
Also, users can change the quantity in MIGO – then there will a difference between quantity of a batch in COR2 screen and quantity of the same batch in MIGO.

Later, Production department users will carry-on with confirmation of process order through COR6N, even if materials are not issued to the respective Process order in full quantities.

At this stage, is there any way to check whether the quantity of a batch in MIGO is matching with the quantity in Process order. If there is any difference in quantity, can system display a warning or error. . ?
Please let me know how to ensure correctness of the quantities.

Thanks in advance

Sapfann.

Hi,

Yes you have, try with COID, a thing transaction show you a grid (there are quantities to manufactured, but not the quantity that you had notificated) in order to look at all data that you want, you must add data into the grid (layout options, there is a button to do that).
