Planned Independent Requirement overwrites another materialMaterial X has been updated with 3 mth planned qty via MD61. Later Material Y has been updated in different screen of MD61, but the qty has been copied over to PIR Material X. Although changes has been done, it keeps following either of this material's PIR. There's no linkage between this material.
Really appreciate if anyone can help on this
Re: Planned Independent Requirement overwrites another materialIssue has been resolved
These materials are sharing the same requirement pointer(can be seen in table PBIM).The planned qty and change history will be updated in other tables eg: PBED and PBHI referring to the same key requirement point # in PBIM. Whenever there are changes of planned qty for this material, system will refers to this requirement point # and update PBHI and PBED accordingly. use Transactions MD74-->MD76 :will delete the whole details/history on the materials. After the 3 transactions have been executed, the new MD61 for the material will create new unique requirement point #.
Re: Planned Independent Requirement overwrites another materialInteresting. But based on your system version, it could be related to the material status as well.. Please check OSS note # 1006619
