What is the concept of MTO strategy with PP application?

Hi, experts.

When company do MTS concepted startegy(10), this process will be...

SOP -> DM -> MRP/MPS and CRP -> PAC...

What if company do MTO concepted strategy(20), I guess this process will be...

Sales order -> MRP/MPS and CRP -> PAC...

When I see the some books of CPIM, they said MTO strategy has no stocks but it has design of it. How to do this with PP application?

And also if I`m wrong, please correct me. I`m newbie here.
