PS integration to MS Outlook and MS Project

Post by KLHDK » Mon Jan 20, 2014 3:24 am

I have a request from my organisation to integrate SAP PS to Microsoft to support project planning. We are currently investigating two areas integration of activities/milestone to Outlook calendar or tasks and for project planning I would like to know if anybody has experience with running MS Project integrated in PS instead of the planning board, I do not know if this is possible?

Kind Regards

it's possible to integrate SAP PS in Microsoft Project vía OPENPS.

I think OPENPS is a free program you can download form SAP Market Service Place. Long time ago I was using it, but there were some troubles or it didn´t work as I would like (with external activities).

Anyways, it was some time ago (2005) so I'm pretty sure OPENPS has improved. It was like a add on in Microsoft Project very easy to use. Just press a button in Microsoft Project, logon with SAP user and download or update Microsoft Project from SAP PS.

I have no idea about integration with Microsoft Outlook
