RAS order (repair&sevice) versus contract mgt

Postby psquare » Tue Dec 23, 2014 3:19 am

Hi fellow CS people,

I have a question around service&maintenance contract management.

Normally when you have a contract assigned to e.g. equipment, via contract determination the S&M contract is found. This contract is taken through the whole service process where the service order will be settled to the contract and the billing document revenue will be posted to the contract. Also the price agreements are taken into account durig resource related billing (RRB).

What is the contract flow around the repair&service process via the sales order type RAS?
1)I create a notification for equipment under contract.
2)Contract determination will find S&M contract.
3)RAS order is created via actionbox in notificaiton.
4)Service order is created via action of the RAS order. Settlement rule is SDI RAS ordernr.
5)Costs are posted on service order and order is TECO.
6)RRB is done on the RAS order and costlines of the Service order are taken for the RRB.
7)Billing is done on the RAS order.

Question:
I would think that the contract price agreements are taken into account during RRB. But this is not working.
I would expect the Revenue of the Billing would also be going to the conttract in this case.

Is this not a standard scenario in CS?
If yes, how to arrange this.

If not:
Do I need to use userexits of the RRB?
Do I need to use userexits in the settlement procedure determinaton of the sales order?

Thanks all for your advice in this.

best regards,
