Postby Sallyxu » Wed Nov 05, 2014 10:33 pm

Hi PM Guru,

May I ask for your help?

In report MCI7, is the field "object class" same as Object type in FL /equipment master?

Pls confirm or correct me.

Thank you,

Sally

This specifically refers to classification and is, therefore, not the same thing. F1 help in the field will give you the relevant information.

Hope that helps

Thank you so much for your answer.

I've checked that
1. in Equipment Master, the class type 002 and class have been maintained.

2. In notification, breakdown is ticked with duration for that equipment.

3. Notification has been closed.

But in MCI7, for the period analyzed, there is no result generated.

Would you please let me know how to diaganose it?

Thank you,
Sally

Have you checked that the equipment has any Characteristics and Characteristic Values in it? Without these, you won't get any objects returned.

Thank you very much for your reply.

Yes, I did maintain the class and characteristics in addtion to the detailed value in the Equipment master.

Besides, I created 2 notifications with breakdown info for the analytical period.

But in MCI7, even though I specified the Class, I still can not get any result from it.

Please kindly help me further.

Thank you very much,
Sallyxu
