generate a Work Flow for Quality check after order finished?

Postby Sallyxu » Wed Oct 08, 2014 3:19 am

Hi PM Guru,

After PM order is finished, in some cases we need to have the equipment checked by Quality department before handing over to production.

We would like to have this step auto handled in SAP instead of going after the Quality department to have them signed on the shop paper.

Please kindly share your idea.

Thanks,

Sally

Sally,

How in the SAP system would you define this equipment as requiring a quality check?

Hi Pete,

Yes, We would like to define this equipment as quality related for quality check.

So each order against it can have one step for Quality to check.

Please adivse how.

Thank you,

Sally

SAlly,

Is there only one equipment on the order, or are you using the Object List too??

If there is only one equipment, then you could set a user-status. A batch program would then run periodically to search for these order with the user-status and create the relevant QM documents.

Hi Pete,

Yes, we use one Equipment instead of Object list.

Would you please shed more light on the QM functionality as well as the user exit?

I need to understand then decide if we implement it.

Thank you,

Sally
