Maintenance personnel work hour monitoring

Postby Sallyxu » Fri Jul 25, 2014 4:09 am

Hi PM Guru,

Our objective is to compare planned hour to actual hour per mainenance personnel.

To do so, we plan to do the following:

1. create work center for each crew by discipline

2. assign the plan hour to employee in Operation (requirement) as Plan hour

3. confirm hour for actual hour.

My questions are:

a. What are the prerequisite for this in HR?

b. For personnel confirmation, is it done in IW41 or CAT2 before CAT9?

Please kindly share your expertise.

Hi Sally,

Answer on a) You have to use at least an HR minimaster.
Answer on b) CAT9 delivers at the end a confirmation like IW41. So it doesn't matter if you use CAT9 of IW41. It al depends what you want to register and which functionality you want to use. Also in IW41 you can enter a personal number.

Hi Psquare,

Thank you very much for your kind help.

Would you please shed more light on "HR minimater"?

To my understanding, it sounds like personnel master data.

Please kindly help.

Hi Sally,

It is indeed personell masterdata.

The following Infotypes needs to be maintained - 0000 , 0001 , 0002 ,0007 , 0105 , 0315

A mini master doesn't contain the infotypes for which you should pay licence costs.
