Sally,

Go to transaction SM37 and enter the following:
- Job Name = *
- User = *
- From Date = go back 2 months
- To Date = todays date
- ABAP Program Name = RISTRA20 (this is the program name for IP30)

Execute the report.

Hi Sally,

I think you don't have a job yet for IP30 when you can't find any.
Is the question perhaps: How to create a regular job for IP30?

Please have a look at the following:

Hi Psquare,

Appreicate your answer to my questions and he useful document.

Yes, you spotted it right that there is no batch job in test enviroment.

As I have no access to SE36, what I do is to set it up within IP30.

I have 2 further questions:

1. How to know the ABAP program name for batch job?

2. How to modify or delete an existing batch job? say, frequench change from daily to weekly?

Please kinldy hlep.

Hi Pete,

Let me make it clearer.

We can run a background program for many transactions, i.e. IW38, IW37N....

If we need to find if there is a batch job for them, we need to know the ABRP program name.

How can I know the name?

And how to modify the selection critieria in case we need to change the existing batch job?

Thank you,

Sally

Sally

The easiest way to find the program name is use menu path: System->Status.

You can modify a batch program via SM37 by finding the batch program name, then using the menu option: Job->Change.

HI Pete,

Thank you very much.

The 1st question is well sunk in.

Concerning 2nd question, I got there but there seems no way to change the frequency.

Is there anything missing?

Pls help.

Delete the job and create a new one via SM36
