Centralized Planning - PR Plant

Postby sabya1411 » Thu Jul 14, 2011 12:27 am

Hi,
We have using Cenralized Planning.
Plant 1000 is planning plant for all Maintenance Plants like 1000, 1001, 1002.....

When I create as Servcie PR for the Service Order the PR has a Plant of 1000.
Even when the Service Orders are created in Plant 1001 or 1002.

I am not able to understand the reason.
I have Vendor Agreements for all Plants i.e. 1001 ..1002 & and so on.

Please can someone advice on this..

regards
Saby

Thanks & Regards
Saby

Saby

You will probably find that the Planning Plant in the order header is 1000, and this will have defaulted from the Equip or FLoc

You are right..Pete
The Functional Location is at Maintenance Plan 1001 which has a Planning Plant 1000.

The Order created on Functional Location which are in Plant 1001.
The Service PR when created has the Planning Plant : 1000.

Instead of this I want the Service PR to be in Plant 1001, the plant where the Functional Locations is.
Please let know if there any Exit / Badi to change the Plant in Service PR which are generated from Service Orders.

regards
Saby

At the top of this forum is a link to our FAQ posts. In there you will find another link to PM/CS User-Exits.

A good start would be to have a look at user-exits (TCode SMOD):
COZF0001 - Change purchase req. for externally processed operation
COZF0002 - Change purchase req. for externally procured component

Hi Peter A,
The Exits :
COZF0001 - Change purchase req. for externally processed operation
COZF0002 - Change purchase req. for externally procured component

Do not have the option of chaging the EBAN - WERKS (Plant) field of the Pruchase Requisition.

Is there any other exit or way to do this ?

Saby

Hi,

Looking at this issue, try to look at your organisation how it is set up first.
Definition:

Planning Plant, the organizational nature of the Plant,
provides a way to group people and tasks into an
organizational unit.

Maintenance Plant represents the physical facility

So looking at your story two things can have happened:
1) Organisation was set up incorrectly which lead to incorrect contracts, pruchasing process in SAP
2) Master data is set up incorrectly

you say you have centralized planning, so if this is the case, why do you purchase via differents planning plants?

If case 1 is valid, I advise you to change the contracts and purchase proces.
However, if you are not using central planning, which I supsect, than case 2 is valid, and you need to update your master data to the correct planning plant.

This is better than using userexits incorrectly in my opinion.

Regards,

Psquare

Saby

You could have a look at the BADIs starting with IWO1* via TCode SE18
