Maintenance Plan and Task ListIn CS.... Maintenance plans and Task lists,..... are these both objects considered as master data or transaction data?
Re: Maintenance Plan and Task ListThis is a grey area...
I would say that TL are master data, and MP are transactional data PeteA
Re: Maintenance Plan and Task ListI agree with Pete, it is a grey area.
it depends on the organisation how they look at it. TL defenitely master data. However MP..... You could consider it as master data used to generate transactional data. I normally use a definition of master data which are objects which do not change regulary. The details of the plan doesn't change much. So I consider it as master data. But on the other hand.. it can be an endless discussion. I am more interested in the background of your question. Is it important to know if it is master data? I would be more interested about who is responsable for the details. Regards, Psquare
Re: Maintenance Plan and Task ListIn BBP we have to describe all the master data and transaction data objects that are covered in our process.
So I wanted to know in which section should I be including these objects. I will include Task list in Master data objects and MP in Transaction data object list. Thank you to both of you
