BAPI or function to create/change Task list!

Hi, experts
currently we are developing an interface to get data from another system and use the data to create corrensponding task list in sap R3 System.but we can't find a ideal way to update task list in R3.My problem is that"Is there any function Module or Bapi to creat/change task list in R3 except BDC?'"

Hi Psquare,
I've tried the BAPI you mentioned. But I cannot set the task list type to 'A/E/F',that means i can only create routin .But what i really want to create is 'Maintenance task list' and the BAPI doesn't take effect.Thanks anyway!

As in my scenario,the sap system regularly receives data from another system and then create maintenance task list that later used in PM order.The bapi used to create routin doesn't suit my need.And we finally decide to use ABAP+BDC to solve this problem. Thanks for your replays!
