Dear PeteA,

Order released ,the error message is "select serial number".When i am doing the goods receipt by MIGO against the refurbishment order it is taking and system is asking for serial number also. But when i am doing GR by IW8W serial number is not comming(Message-- select serial number).I maintained the serial number profile and serial no usage --03.

okay bro,
follow this path to solve your problem :
Plant Maintenance and Customer Service --> Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service --> Technical Objects --> Serial Number Management --> Define Serial Number Profiles
select serial no profile, then click serializing procedure and maintain this field :
MMSL Maintain goods receipt and issue doc. 03 02

Hello All,

I also have this problem and once resolved it in the past but cannot remember how I did it.

My Refurb Order is Released and the config is set as suggested.

In IW8W, I can see the "Serial number data" table but there are no entries to choose from. The message I am receiving when tryng to SAVE is "Select Serial Numbers", (Message no. CMFU106).

Any ideas?

Have a look at this OSS Note: http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/988708

Does it look familiar?
