Tasklist header LTX + Maint Item LTX appears on Order LTX

Postby suzzane2006 » Wed Mar 05, 2008 6:54 pm

Hi!

We have seen that when orders are generated through maintenance plans, the order longtext gets populated not only by Maintenance item long text but also if there exists a task list long text then that also gets appened to the order long text- Why? How to stop this? We are in ECC6.0

Thanks,

Suzzane

Suzzane,

What exactly do you want to stop?

Hi PeteA,

We want the task list longtext not to append on order longtext- only Maintenance item long text will go to order long text.

Suzzane,

I suppose NOT using the TL long-text is not an option???

Have a look at BADI IWO1_TL_INTEGRATION (Maintenance- and Service Order: Task List Integration)

Hi PeteA,

I think maintenance item long text ( if available) should only come on order longtxt. If there is a task list header long text it may come on maintenace item long txt but should not come directly on order long text. May be SAP can have a rethink on this function! Do you thing this BADI may work? I have a doubt as it can be used for IW31> tasklist copy but from IP10 it may not.

Suzzane,

You may fine an OSS Note with a work-around but I very much doubt it... And it would be extremely unlikely for SAP to change the code just for your requirements..

I'm not sure about IWO1_TL_INTEGRATION you would need to test it for yourselves.

What version are you working with?

Hi Suzzane,

We have just implemented PM module and are looking at the same issue. Were you able to resolve? If so, can you tell me how?

Thanks,

Lina
