Create Equipment from Material Master

I create an Equipment Master and use the Material as a Reference. I then select all the objects to be copied. ie. Classification/doc assignment etc. All the objects are copied but NOT the Class. Any idea why?

Could be to do with material masters and equipment masters having different class types

I believe that's exactly why. We created a program that will create an equip item referenced from the material master. Obviously the classes have to be identical (except the class number) matching characteristics, etc.
