ATP confirmation

The question concerns ATP. The business-scenario is the following. A maintenance guy creates a PM-order and adds a material component with some requirement date. ATM shows then the component is not available due to the lead-time in the material master. Ok. He calls purchase-guy and asks him to resolve the situation. The purchase-guy calls the material supplier and settles the new delivery date, less than requirement date in PM-order. The question is what should the purchase-guy do in the system to approve the new delivery date to make the PM-order pass ATP?

The answer is the following. He should change delivery dete in PR. And he should check, whether the storage locations and validation types are the same in the PM-order and in the PR. :oops: :roll:
