One Step VS Two Steps on Archiving MM_EKKO

Hi,

I'm trying to archive purchasing document on MM_EKKO object.
I read the notes for one step and two step usability. As i know, use one-step procedure to complete the archiving in one step (start from deletion flag, archive PO and delete PO). Use two-step procedure to run in different time archiving process, deletion flag only happens on PreProc Process, and then run write process to do the rest. CMIIW

And then i try to compare by running one by one, but i don't see any different between those option.
As far as i can see is PreProc only used to make deletion flag PO, and then i have to run Write Program for both of procedure (one step and two step).
Seems like no different between them.

Please can you explain what is the function for every procedure, and give me some example to make me clear

Thanks a lot
Erice

as far as i know,

all 1 step transaction will only send and receipt without confirmation.

2 step transaction need to have confirmation from receiver.

on MIGO 1 step (101), the vendor will get faster payment, as its already confirm and receipt to inventory or asset. for 2 step (103 - 105), it will need confirmation first from receiver then its already get into inventory or asset.

hope it helps!

cheers.

Hi...

I try to use 2 step, but i don't need to confirm first. I can do the preprocessing directly, and Purchase Order will be delete after i run this
In where the confirmation will show ? from SAP Tcode or what ? and how to confirm this ?

Thank You
Erice

TCode MIGO, is for receipt, delivery, switch item.

e.g. Receipt 2 step. 103 (after you execute, you will get matdocnum 49xx). note this matdocnum, and use in 105. they will tally each other.
