Cancel LIV for unknown account assignment

Post by annieb » Wed Dec 12, 2012 6:53 pm

I have a user that has created a FO (Framework order), with account assignment category U-unknown, posted an invoice but is now wanting to reverse this invoice. MR8M is returning an error message ME083 "Enter G/L account", but of course you cannot do this. Any ideas?

Hi,

I was surprised that you can originally post invoice receipt via MIRO transaction without G/L account and cost object. Have you checked if this is the case in your system?

Cheers,

Perhaps I was not clear, when originally posting the invoice of course you need to indicate a G/L and cost object, the problem arises when you attempt to cancel the invoice via MR8M. This is where the user is receiving a message to enter a g/L account (message ME083) which of course is not possible in this transaction. Yet the g/l and cost object does exist in the originating invoice.

Hi,

I would suggest you to log an OSS message to SAp for their permanent solution as it appears to me it is the system bug (You can also refer to OSS Note 728431 which details another similar case).

Hi

This is probably of no use at all but have you tried transaction MR08 instead?
