GR label, WEE1, can be output but it is blank

Hi,

1. When I do a GR, I can automatically get material label, WEE1, printed but it is always blank. What is missing?

2. Where can I control how many labels to print? For example, In case that GR quantity is 12 and 1 box has 5 quantity, I want 4 labels (2 labels for 2 boxes and 2 labels for 2 qty)

Q1: You should go back and check in your SAPscript / Smartform and print-out program logic.
Q2: You should enter the number of material labels using the GR/IR slip field.

I use SAP pre-defined SAPscript / Smartform / print-out program, and standard configuration. I just added condition record and updated material master for the label. Do you have any idea?

Where can I enter the number? Do you mean I print GR/IR slip at first, check the number of materials labels needed and then enter the number and print the labels?

Hi,

From the configuration setting via OMJJ, add field WEANZ into the list of fields to be populated for your related movement type (101, for instance). This will allow you to enter the number of GR/IR Slip to print out GR Label.

Hi HT,

I understood how to enter the number of material labels using the GR/IR slip field. But my label is still blank.

I found OMCF raise a message as follows.

Diagnosis
You have chosen the layout set RM07ETIKETT. This layout set is either not available or has not been activated.

Procedure
Please enter another layout set or create/activate the layout set you require.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The cause may be this but RM07ETIKETT is set up as SAP default and I didn't change anything.
Do you have any idea?

If this form is not available, then you have to run SE38 transaction and program RSTXFCPY to copy this form from Client ''000''.

Thanks for your advice. I could activate it but the output is still blank page.

Sometimes, the number of output pages is several depends on GR quantity but they are blank...

Are there any other suggestions?

Hi,

Go back to either MIGO or MB03 transaction and check if the message type WEE1 was automatically defaulted into your material document?. If yes, was the message output having the green traffic light color (which indicates successful transmission)? Did you use the thermal printer to print out your GR label?. Was this problem happening recently? or was it happening since the first time you configured your message?

The message type WEE1 was automatically defaulted into my material document.

The message output status was green.

The project phase is now process design.

There is currently no printer to print the label so I set it to output in the spool. In my understanding, the spool is the same image as the physical printer. There may be a small difference but not big difference such as blank only for spool.

The thermal printer operates differently than the normal printer. Are you saying that the spool number was generated successfully but you can't view the content as it was blank?

Hi,

Try to add the new WEE1 message type in your GR document via MB02 transaction and set your message up in such a way that it shall only be transmitted via MB90 transaction. Check in MB90 transaction then in print preview to see if you can see any information contained.

I added the new WEE1 message type in my GR document via MB02 transaction and the message was selected by MB90. But even though I pressed preview button in MB90, nothing happened. The preview screen was supposed to come up but it didn't...
