Re: How to change moving price in material master?Hi MM888,
I cannot do any movements yet. I created the new material with the wrong moving price and I only know that it can be edited via MR21. I need to change the moving price before i post movements. How else can it be changed aside from MR21? MM02 shows that field as disabled and does not allow me to change.
Re: How to change moving price in material master?Hi,
Based on my limited experience in MM, you can't change that field during MM02. In MM01, I think that field is open. Your only option right now is via MR21 while you are not having stocks yet as what we normally do during mass migration of data (i.e. initial stock entries). Regards,
Re: How to change moving price in material master?
can you explain why you are looking for something different than MR21? Why do you need to chagne a moving average price at all before you do the first movement? zero quantity multiplied with a wrong price is still nothing. the price of the first receipt (in ref to a Purchase order) is the new moving average, no matter how wrong the price in the material master is. Re: How to change moving price in material master?the moving price is automaticly set as there is a difference between a previous cost and a current cost, but any GR should take the current.
No need to change the moving price as the taken conditions are updated with the current.
