Report showing Number of POs (RESOLVED)

Post by roos » Wed Sep 28, 2011 1:29 am

Hi

Is there a report which will show me the number of purchase orders per vendor - i don't want number of line items - I want number of purchase orders.

Regards,

roos

Hi

Try ME2L. Enter in the required selection data. You can tweak the output and save as a variant if req'd but the 'No. of Positions' (with the ALV Control flagged) gives you the number of PO's per vendor.

Sorry

Forgot to mention that you need to select the 'scope of list' to be BEST_ALV.

Cheers

Hi there

Thanks for the feedback and I hate to be a patronising arse but this is not a simple request. You're right - I can get the number of items on the PO no problem but SAP seems to not want to give me the number of purchase order headers i.e. number of documents anywhere (well appart from ME81 but that insists on a currency) so I'm at a bit of a loss.

Thanks again for coming back to me.

Regards,

roos

TAANA transaction does such kind of analysis
beeing there just click execute.
you get a pop-up, enter EKKO table
and click the button next to analysis variant and click then ad hoc variant
select then the field for which you want an aggregated summary.
e.g. LIFNR and WAERS
then execute.

then play the role of a service provider, run it on demand for them.

or create a transaction variant, or write a report yourself.

the standard LIS transactions like MC$4 are counting items not documents.
dont you have a BW system that can do these counts ?
