by SAP standard, when does the system looks for GBB-INV account?
I only know for movement 701 and 702. what else?

Hi there

Using SE16n You can interrogate the database table which contains the movement type to account modifiers assignments.

It is called T156X.

Hi roos, does INV used for physical inventory movements only? it seems like that as i checked our table T156X, i saw 701 702 703 704 707 708 711 712 713 714 717 718 901 902 981 982 .

Hi there

Yes, you're right - it's only used for standard inventory movements as far as I know.

It enables the accountants to have a separate expense account on the P & L for writing to inventory gains and losses.
