HI
We are implementing ECC6,I have an issue regarding the material numbers.I have two materials Material A and Material B,Physically both material are same,we sell the material A to customer A and material B to customer B,The only difference between these materials is the expiry date,Material A will have 3 months and material B will have 12 months we cannot sell material A to customer B because of the expiry date,Is there any way I can have one universal material number for both customer?
Appreciate you response

Can you explain how one and same product can have 2 different expiry dates?
is it just customer demand?
In general the expiry date is not even different in different plants if it is the same material.
However you can set the expiry date individual (manual) at batch record.
When I produce a joghurt with an expiry date of November 15. Then this joghurt expires on that date independent to whom I delivered it.
Are you mixing exiry date with remaining shelf life?
Can it be that customer A expects a remaining shelf life of a year while customer B only expects 3 month?
