Using TCode LECI to check in a shipment

Postby mdungen » Thu Oct 26, 2006 3:31 am

Hi,

Any experiences out there with transaction LECI (LES-TRA)? I'd like to use this transaction to register the arrival of the truck and set the status "check in" in the shipment this truck is going to pick up.

Thnx for any help!

This is not available in standard, there is no field to enter the shipment number. Most truck drives would not even know this number to tell it the porter who is usually executing this transaction.

Svetja,

Thnx for the reply. I know that no such field is available, i have already checked if user exits are available, sofar no joy.
Drivers have order numbers, delivery numbers and the likes with them. Using these numbers is easy to retrieve the relaed shipmanet. I'm interested if any body has made thase sorts of adaptations.

Cheers.

If you register a truck, then this is stored in table LECI_EVENT_DATA .

And this table has a field transport number. This is not filled for a just registered truck.

But this field makes me think that it must somehow be possible to assign a shipment to the check-in trucks, Maybe only in future modules, maybe we just dont know how.

Hi Svetja,

Thanks for the tip, I'll plough through the table as well.

Perhaps some functionalk call will do the trick for us!

Cheers
