MB5S - underlying tables

Postby EAS on Wed Oct 05, 2005 3:38 pm

Hi:

I am trying to identify the underlying tables that flow into the report produced with Tcode MB5S. In particular I am looking to ID the tables that contain the Received Qty and Value and the Invoiced Qty and Value.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

In case of MB5S, the following basic tables are called for PO history data extraction -

1) EKBE
2) EKBES
3) EKBEZ
4) EKBZ

Cheers,

This is not always true... in last releases the definition of TABLES is not suggested.

When I need to find out what are the tables, the fastest way I know is run tcode SE30. Exec the transaction or the report. When finished click on Analyze, then, form the menu, Go to->object centered list->database tables. Here you'll find all tables accessed, and you can go directly to the code....

Important: if you want to activate this menu option, SE30 must be run with a variant: create one, and in the tab Duratn/type set 'Aggregation' to none. There is an oss note describing in more details this.

Regards.
