Characteristics values(PR Release Strategy) Mass load - CLMM

Hi,

We are using Purchase Requisition Release Strategy with classification.
We have Cost Center as one of our our characteristics. We would like to load the Characteristics values(Total 600 Cost centers froeach release strategy).

The SAP delivered mass change program(transaction CLMM ) is not useful. SAP is not supporting reference characteristics or characteristics with intervals in the mass change program. Even in the manual entry we have to insert a single line each time. If it allows to insert a block of line we can insert them easily.

Has anyone come across similar scenario ? Is there any other solution to load these charactersitics values ? Our client doesn't want to spend money to develop a conversion program for this one time load.

You may use LSMW with object 130 (classification) to transfer data from any text file to classification
