I have a unique situation. I am trying to implement IDOC DLEFOR02 in 2 seperate instances of SAP. We are using scheduling agreements , document type LP, and doing deliveries without release documentation. Both instances are on 6.0 where the testing is occuring. For our output, we simply trigger as message output fax, email or EDI to trigger the releases to the vendor. In this case, I have tested the custom IDOC ZDELFOR02 in one of the instances to be interfaced to an EDI 830 and it is working perfectly with the new custom segments. The user exit we developed for this IDOC is dependent on EKET-AMENG updating properly after a print or an MRP run. As you know, when a new delivery is created initially EKET-AMENG will be blank but once a print occurs or MRP runs, it gets updated with the quantity from MENGE.

We copied the modified IDOC ZDELFOR02 to the second SAP instance and are using scheduling agrement deliveries the same as above. But we found immediately that when a delivery is created either via MRP or manually at ME38 and when a print occurs or MRP runs, EKET-AMENG does not update correctly as the other instance. It remains blank.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

We have looked at configuration, MRP Groups and message output but cannot find why in the second instance EKET-AMENG does not get updated when MRP runs. We are looking for possible causes and things to look for.
