Customer consignment

Postby coleale » Mon Jun 04, 2012 4:12 am

Hi all, I have this buisness to implement:
I need to create purchasing order of spare parts,
create good entry directly in stock W because goods are shipped directly to the customer.
then use them from service order.
My problem is linket to the first part: good entry directly in stock W . How can I obtain it?
regards
Alessandra

Hi!

Here are some information about special stocks.
http://it.toolbox.com/wiki/index.php/Sp ... cks_in_SAP

I believe that the approach of this kind of stock (provided to customer) is in the SD perspective.

As in MM, we are receiving stock from vendor, and still if it is a "W" special stock, it will be at our Warehouse, opposite to what you are experiencing, the stock will be at the Client´s Warehouse, not at yours, so this is a SD perspective, and they will have to deliver specifiying a "W" contract or sales order...

If you are in MM, that stock is yours, so I don´t believe it must be a "W" at your own plant-warehouse, it can be managed as unrestricted and as a usual material.

Tell me what do you think,

Cheers!
