Transfer from Standing Work Order

I'm trying to set up a material transfer from a standing work order to a standard PM work order. Movement type 262 from the standing work order to 261 for the standard work order. Has anyone successfully configured such an operation?

Hi,

There is not any such required configuration as your proposed solution would only require you to create the new work order so that you can transfer the costs of issued material from the old to the new one.

As HT suggested. You will need to perform following steps

1. Get parts into storage location via MIGO mvt type 262 - reference Stranding order
2. Issue part to PM order via MIGO mvt type 261

Not sure why want to manage parts via this process..
