eCATT

Postby Ravi_30 » Tue Aug 05, 2003 12:42 am

Has anybody worked with eCATT?

Would like to know whether eCATT needs to be used with third party
testing tools like Compuware (QALoad) or Mercury Interactive (Load Runner for R/3).

Can eCATT be used without integrating such 3rd Party testing tools?

Regards,
Ravi

Hi! I have been using ecatt for several months now. We have not used any third party tools with it. They are not needed.

It seems to be a huge improvement from CATT.

Good Luck!

eCATT can be used with Release 4.6C or higher, but runs only on the Web Application Server Release 6.20 or higher.

If you have 4.6C and web server 6.2 you can run ecatt. If you dont have these pieces than you cant run it.

Ecatt enables you to test control functions, gui interfaces, web interfaces, etc that catt doesnt. It also has picked up some new features that are better than the old catt.

I never used catt so I cant really help you out with that...

If you have any more questions about ecatt please email me... I dont get to check this forum that much.

Thanks!

Hi Ravi,

Yes eCATT can be integrated with external tools. I have worked with testpartner tool (Compuware product) integrated with ECATT.

eCATT can not support for browser controls and other applications like ms office etc.
