Customer Requested Arrival Time in Sales Order

Hi
Our customer generally sends an order for the same material with multiple deliveries over a two or three day period at SPECIFIED delivery times.

We create a Sales Order with multiple items for the same material and then go to the Schedule Line view for EACH ITEM to specify the ARRIVAL TIME. .. this is a slow process which we would like to improve.

The FAST CHANGE option from the EDIT menu is useful if all the items are on the same Delivery Date and all have the same arrival time. But generally this is not the case. We would like Arrival Time to be in the item entry grid .. has anyone done this? .. issues relating to Schedule Line / availability?

Any thoughts appreciated

Hi,

Do you use Delivery Scheduling and/or Transportation Scheduling? Is your order type configured for this?
IMG: Logistics execution--> Shipping--> Scheduling--> Deliv sched and transp sched

Do you use routes?
IMG: Logistics execution--> Shipping--> Scheduling--> Routes
