Extract VBAK-AUART available entries?

Postby lalondemt » Fri Oct 03, 2014 5:15 pm

SAPFans,
Is there a way to extract all the possible entries for a specific field?
In our case, the list of Sales Order Types?
Basically, how do we pull the data below to a spreadsheet, etc. (I'll assume it's simple, and we just can't see it)

Thanks,
Mark

Fields with a look-up list like this are generally from another table - for document types a customising table.
To find the table:
== use SE11 on your data table (in this case VBAK)
== in SE11, press the "Entry/Help Check" tab
== scroll to your field (AUART); there should be an entry in the "Check Table" field - in this case, TVAK

This table gives the list of Sales Document Types.

Hi

Further to last post, tvak will list all SD doc types. If you want a list of only sales orders, you need to specify in you select criteria for tvak where document category (VBTYP) = 'C'. That will get you a list of configured sales orders. Now if you want to further restrict this list to the sales orders that your are actually using to create transactions, also check document block field (SPERR) = ' '.
