VL02N - Deliver Output, Setting Defaults??

Postby imnotsappy » Mon Jul 14, 2014 9:23 pm

Ok I'm very new to SAP and i have searched and research all over but can't find what I'm looking to do... or if it can be done.

I want to know if you can set defaults for check boxes and other items under my user profile for VL02N. When i got to print and fax a bill, I have to select the printer, and check both Print Immedatily and Release after output. Is there a way to make these be checked every time i print and fax. Its a constant repetitive task, and it would really cut down on time. I have attached images of all the items id like to be able to make default. I really appreciate anyones help. Thanks

This is maintained in transaction VV22.
Good luck!

BTW,

that was outstanding problem reporting.

I wish more users would take that time and be so detailed.

Thank you!!

Thank you.

So there is no way to do this just under my user name.

Transaction defaults can be tricky.

If your SAP Basis guy doesn't have an option, please ask him about GUI XT, which would give you that, if company policy permits. You may still have to go through the screens, but the values would default.

I don't know why exactly, but for some odd reason, I have found that SAP isn't big on printing.
My experience as soon as you have to deal with double byte language in a UNIX environment.
CIO's think they are cool, cause they got the license and stuff and the windows front end can show everything, but the damn UNIX boxes never got that character set installed. That can cost money too.

Cheers
