How to simplify SD screens

Postby akrason » Tue Oct 15, 2013 11:11 am

Hi,

Do you know of any (SAP or market) solution to the following requirement?

We need to expose our warehouse clerks to sales order creation or change in SAP.
As of today, our warehouse clerks perform during their working day some additional activities which have to be accounted for and invoiced to the customer concerned. The idea would be not to involve sales office in this process.
Just an exemple: receive oil sample from customer's installation and send it out for chemical analysis to a third party.
Ideally I would just need to put at their disposal a simple screen where they select a business case (here: oil sample) and then enter the customer, a text comment and the quantity.

Such system should enable defaulting all other data necessary to create a sales order in a similar way as with TCode VA01. This order will then be invoiced at the end of the day by our invoicing job running for all "material" sales of the day.

We would like to avoid having an in-house ABAP skills. My preference would be to have a system in which an educated SAP user, but not an ABAP programmer, can design user's screen and map it with TCode requirements enabling back-end sales order creation. Ideally it should be flexible enough and user-friendly to do a similar job with regards to other SAP TCodes if required.

Any bright ideas?

Check out http://www.liquid-ui.com. You can simplify and aggregate screens, tabs, and transactions via WYSIWYG design tools and recording technology that generates JavaScript without touching the backend. Also once the scripts are generated for SAP GUI, you can use the same script to render the same simplified screen in iPads, iPhones, Androids, barcode scanners, HTML5-based Web Browsers, offline mobile devices or create an excel spreadsheet or PDF document as a front-end to SAP.

Check it out.

Hi, try GuiXT, thought it's not for users no ABAP needed.
