Hello Guys,

Many, many thanks for all your help and sorry for the tardy reply (VPN went caput last week, my pc was shut down and I was out of the UK - thank you Helpdesk) as apparently my contract had expired (October 2008???)

I'm going down the authorisations route, but your replies were an education ayway!

Cheers,

Bennycat

I think use Transaction Variant via code SHD0 is the easiest way.
TKS!

Best Regards.

If you read this thread fully, you will have seen that the consensus was to go the authorisation route, as this gave the possibility of having it apply to every user or just some. The SHDO option would only be variable by order type and not user?
Regards.

Using GuiXT you could do the following:

//
// Documation Consulting Services
// http://www.documation.co.za
// info@documaton.co.za
// SAP FUN - Finetuned User Navigation
//
// Created by : Freddie Botha
// Creaton Date : 06 May 2009
// Purpose : Remove Delete from Menu VA02
//
if Q[transaction=VA01] or Q[transaction=VA02]

del M[change]
del M[display]
del M[create]
del M[delete]

endif

Your script file name would be: SAPMV45A.E4001.txt

You can also add additional conditions for example the role of the user, etc.
