Your Experience with BW 7.1 and Business Objects? We are considering Business Objects Xcelsius as a front end for at least some of our dashboard reporting but I have not come across many people who have implemented Business Objects with BW. Re: Your Experience with BW 7.1 and Business Objects? We are using BO's products as our frontend now.
We finished our migration to BW7.1 at the begining of this year, everthing is good except we lost some content(transformation) in BI content704. The best benefit is we can build frontend (Xcelsius) directly connecting to BI queries. Performance is acceptable - if what you need is a "dashboard" not a full features set of "OLAP Tool". The efforts spent on infoview/portal maintainence should be considered and processes for BO development should be figured out at the very begining: actully , there is no stuffs like transport organizer in SAP existed in BO product line.
