Moved from General Discussion.

ETA:
SAP is not A carrer, it's many different careers. The proposed course seems quite generalist.
It would help to choose a field and study this field, rather than having an overview of many domains.
What function do you intend to have?

For Finance, you'd need a financial accounting background - functional modules in SAP require business knowledge.

ABAP is the programming part of SAP.

Storage and backup would be in System administration, aka Basis.

BI is Business Intelligence - reporting on consolidated data extracted from SAP.
It's on another system, and could be considered a technical job.
