SAP Career / Java Career

Postby mo123 » Fri May 11, 2012 4:55 pm

Hello,

I did my undergraduate studies in Computer Science Engineering. And in my Masters program I have completed an ERP/SAP Associate's certification.I configured one full cycle (except live & support) in FI-MM and SD module during my program for an imaginary Food company. I also learnt ABAP and Business Warehouse as a part of the certification.

I am in a dilemma now. I am not sure if I should start my career with SAP or Java; considering fortune 500 companies have already started implementing SAP. Is it better to start my career as a Java programmer or a SAP consultant considering I do not hold any work experience. However I am very interested in SAP.

Can anyone suggest which one would be better? Thanks for you time. I really appreciate it!

Regards,
