The demand for CRM continues to be quite good but I would say it is a "mature" market. So if you are looking to contract, you will compete with people with many years of experience.

There are a few areas that I think might be a good focus dependant on what you have done in SD

CRM/ISU integration - Big demand as smart metering and dynamic pricing functionality is rolled out. Not many folks with lots and lots of years of CRM/ISU integration so you may be able to get a first job

CRM - TPM, lots of requirements for this one and very few folks with any real experience on it

After those I guess CRM service seems to be in pretty high demand.

I think the worst place you could focus on in CRM based on supply and demand would be sales and marketing
