Need recommendation for low cost SAP Netweaver training

Postby rbrooks » Tue Jun 14, 2011 10:10 am

Fellow professionals,

Do any of you have recommendations regarding where I can obtain high quality low cost training on SAP Netweaver? I am doing consulting with a client that has an SAP 4.6 environment, and has a need to export some of the functionality that is typically found in Profitability Analysis (SAP CO-PA).

As an intro to my background, I am SAP FI certified, and I have 6 years of Java programming experience. As a result, I need recommendations as to whether I should be looking into Netweaver XI or Netweaver PI, and where I can find low cost training that has a sandbox environment where I can practice SAP development.

All help is appreciated.

high quality usually = high cost.
and the rest of your question really didnt make much sense. I understood the bit about fi-certified and java programming, but exporting co-pa functionality and trying to use sap xi or pi is where you lost me totally.
cheers

Pi is the old Xi!

and you can get free access to PI boxes over at the ES Workplace on SDN

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/soareg

The Java programming will not help much! very little Java within SAP PI. and if there is maybe it is not the right tool!

you'd better be looking at Composite Application Framework....

Composite Application Framework Tutorial Center:

you can even get a trial system to download and install
