Postby sapnova13 » Mon Jan 26, 2009 8:08 am

Hello I was wondering if anyone have any experience with Siemens India,Chennai education training for HR ECC6.0 THR10, THR12. I am also thinking about
taking TAW10 ABAP Workbench Fundamentals. Are the Instructors very good. Easy to understand (I am from Canada). What are the training shool and labs like.
Do they assist in finding you a job after. What is your generally thoughts on them, very good, good, ok etc. Any help I would really appreciate. Thanks for any feedback or advice.
Have a good day.

Stephen

Hi, Both SISL & Genovate are approved training partner for SAP & they have good training facilities & instructors, there are many who come from the west to do these courses because of the trainer & the fact that it is cheaper do to the certification course herein India

Would advise do the course where there are good trainers. Bharat Petroleum and NIIT would be a better choice. Insist on the profile of trainer. Genovate hires all rejected and inexperienced trainers. understand Genovate staff take commision from trainers. Bharat petroleum have excellent trainers. Genovate gives all false promises on jobs. We are all struggling. Never make a mistake . Dont do the course at Genovate. tHey are cheats of highest order including their director fabian.

hi all,

I completed my course in SAP SD from Genovate last year. my recommendation please for heaven sake dont waste your hard earned money by taking up a course at this s**t place called genovate. The faculty was awful...never bothered whether we understood or no and was not at all helpful and approachable, he used to just shooo.. us off if we ask any doubt. On the contrary the staff of genovate never bothered to even take our feedback about the tutor all they bothered was ...whether the installments are been paid by the students, even the peons and the complete staff used to behave as if they are doing a favor on us instead of treating us as students and primarily their customers.

as stated above they are real cheats of a lot and there are absolutely no efforts in making us placed anywhere. none of us for past 1 year have been employed anywhere ....agreed the market is bad but so is the way genovate is handling it. they dont even come on phone when called at their reception desk to ask about the status of their efforts for interviews etc.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies and comments. I am an entrepreneur and a couple of days back, while delivering a talk on entrepreneurship and career, was asked about SAP as a career by students, and since I did not know much about it, I sat down to do a thorough research and find the real things.

Also, I went and met couple of people across the major players in this industry in Delhi/ NCR area.

My take: as @Shikha1 said, Genovate made absolute nonsense. I am feeling very strange about Seimens, as I interacted with many students and professionals with 1-2 years of experience who were left absolute job less after going through the course at Seimens. They also suggested that people are being treated as robots and not learners.

Since, I did not know many companies, I was led to many other SAP course providers by these students only. Of which, one is JK Tech. JK as a group is huge and hence I really was interested to see, how they fare. Interestingly a fairly senior person met me and gave me enough time and answered all my weird questions. Then I caught up with a couple of students outside the gurgaon center and found they were liking the stuff.

Other than that, well, what really interested me was, that everyone, from the counsellor to the head, had absolute knowledge of the subject and about their competition in the market.

But in my research on the internet, this is one company which is not being talked about much, which to me is a case of quality not advertising themselves, as they are getting business by solid word of mouth.

It would be great if you guys can further my findings and help me prepare a report, I will publish it on my blog for the world to see and make things easier for people, who are genuinely interested for a career in SAP.

Thanks,
Paritosh

paritoshsharma's post looks like rubbish and a blatant ad for a Genovate competitor.
